VisitorPing vs Base44 analytics
Base44 apps come with an analytics dashboard that goes further than most builders: visits, unique visitors, visit duration, a live visitor count, traffic by page, location, source and device, custom events such as sign-ups and button clicks, and sales figures if you take payments through Stripe. It is already in your editor. VisitorPing does something narrower — it tells you about each visit as it happens.
What Base44 analytics does better
- • Built in: open Dashboard, then Analytics, once the app is published.
- • Custom events for sign-ups, button clicks and form submissions, limited on the free plan and unlimited from Starter up.
- • Stripe sales figures beside the traffic, which VisitorPing does not show.
- • A live count of the people currently in your app.
What VisitorPing does that it does not
- • A push notification on your phone when someone arrives, rather than a dashboard you have to open.
- • The individual visit: this visitor's page, where they came from, and whether they have been before.
- • One dashboard for every site you run, whichever platform built it.
Side by side
| Aspect | Base44 analytics | VisitorPing |
|---|---|---|
| Reporting | Aggregate cards and charts | Per visit, in real time |
| How you find out | Open the app dashboard | Your phone buzzes |
| History | 7 days on Free, 30 days from Starter, 365 on Enterprise | 7, 30 or 90 days, by plan |
| Setup | Nothing — collects once published | One line pasted into the Base44 chat, then checked in the live page source |
Which should you use
For traffic totals, conversions and sales inside a Base44 app, the built-in dashboard is genuinely good and you should use it. VisitorPing is worth adding only if you want to be told, on your phone, when a particular visit is happening.
