Why do I get traffic but no enquiries?
Either the visitors were never going to buy, or they were and something stopped them. Those need opposite fixes, so work out which before doing anything.
The visitors may be the wrong ones
Traffic from searches with no buying intent converts at close to zero, however good the site is. If your most-visited page answers a general question rather than describing what you sell, that is what is happening.
It is also what happens after a badly targeted ad campaign, or a post that got shared widely among people who are not customers.
Or something is stopping them
Each of these is common and each is fixable in an afternoon.
- • No visible phone number, or one that is not tappable on a phone.
- • A contact form asking for more than a name and a way to reply.
- • No prices or ranges anywhere, so getting an answer requires committing to a conversation.
- • No service area, so people cannot tell whether you cover them.
- • A slow page on mobile, where people leave before deciding anything.
How to tell which
Look at which pages people land on and where they were when they left. If they arrive on a service page and leave from it, the page is the problem. If they never reach a service page at all, the traffic is the problem.
That distinction decides whether you should be fixing pages or changing what you rank for, and guessing between them wastes months.
Find what is costing you search clicks, then watch the fix work.
VisitorPing reads your own Search Console data for the pages losing clicks, then rings your phone the moment someone lands on your website.
