How to connect Meta Ads.
Authorise through Facebook, choose the ad account, and daily campaign spend from Facebook and Instagram is imported alongside the visits it produced.
Connecting
Start the Meta connection from Integrations and sign in with the Facebook account that administers the ad account.
The permissions requested cover reading ad performance and listing the pages you manage. Meta shows exactly what is being asked before you approve it, and it is worth reading rather than clicking through.
What comes across
Per campaign, per day: spend, impressions, clicks and the conversion actions Meta reports, in the ad account's currency. Facebook and Instagram placements arrive together, since Meta reports them under one campaign.
Why Meta's numbers and yours will differ
Meta attributes conversions using its own window and its own view of who saw the ad, including people who saw it and later arrived another way. Your site records the visit that actually happened.
So the two will not match, and neither is lying. Use Meta's figures to compare its own campaigns against each other, and your own visit data to judge whether the traffic behaved like customers.
Disconnecting
The connection can be removed from Integrations, and Meta's own settings will also revoke it. Removing it stops future imports and leaves the figures already imported in place.
Find what is costing you search clicks, then watch the fix work.
VisitorPing reads your own Search Console data for the pages losing clicks, then rings your phone the moment someone lands on your website.
